| Here is a small selection of pictures of Volpaia to give an idea of the tranquil beauty of this well-preserved, traditional Tuscan village. Although many of the buildings are now given over to wine-making, there a three restaurants and a small grocery store, as well as apartments for rent. Volpaia is surrounded on all sides by vineyards, olive groves and forest, and is within easy reach of Radda in Chianti, Gaiole in Chianti, Panzano in Chianti, Castellina in Chianti and Greve in Chianti, as well as Florence and Sienna. |
